Please note — this duration is only an estimate. Every learner is different, so the time to complete this course depends mainly on two things: the student’s individual ability and how many classes they take each week. For example, a student taking 5 classes a week will naturally progress much faster than one taking 2, and a 4-year-old and a 6-year-old will not learn at the same pace. After a free trial, we assess each student and share a realistic, personalized timeline.
Overview

Preserve the Quran in Your Heart

What are online Hifz classes?

Online Hifz classes help children and adults memorize the Quran through private lessons with a tutor. At Quranic Center, the plan combines new memorization, recent revision and long-term revision, with Tajweed correction throughout. Students can work toward selected Surahs or the whole Quran at a pace suited to their readiness and schedule.

Becoming a Hafiz is one of the greatest honours a Muslim can earn — and it’s more achievable than many families think. The key is the right plan, the right pace, and consistent, caring guidance.

At Quranic Center, every memorization journey is personalized. Your tutor sets daily targets (sabaq), structured revision of recent lessons (sabqi), and long-term revision of old portions (manzil) — a structured approach that supports consistent practice and retention. Whether your child aims to complete the whole Quran or you’d like to memorize selected Surahs, we shape the plan around you.

If you need stronger recitation foundations, explore our Quran with Tajweed course. For related faith and everyday-practice learning, see Islamic Studies.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to memorize the Quran?
There is no single completion time for every learner. The two-year duration shown on this page is an estimate, not a promise. Your reading level, revision, daily practice and weekly lesson frequency affect progress; your tutor discusses a realistic plan after assessment.
Can adults start Hifz?
Yes. Adults can memorize the whole Quran or selected portions — the plan is tailored to your schedule.
Is Tajweed part of this course?
Yes. We ensure memorization is done with correct Tajweed from the beginning.
Do I need to read the Quran before starting Hifz?
A sound reading foundation helps you memorize accurately. Your tutor assesses pronunciation and fluency first. If reading needs more work, the tutor can recommend building those skills before setting a memorization target.
How is revision included in Hifz lessons?
The plan combines new memorization (sabaq), revision of recent lessons (sabqi), and long-term revision of earlier portions (manzil). Your tutor adjusts the balance to your progress so revision remains part of the routine.
Is there a free trial for Hifz classes?
Yes. Quranic Center offers a free 3-day trial so you can meet the tutor, discuss your reading level and memorization goals, and try the teaching approach before choosing a regular schedule.
